If you want to know where the system is all you do is send a text message by your regular mobile phone to the system, which then communicates with the global positioning satalites and relays it's position back to your mobile by means of a Lattitude and Longitude reference, you then simple put this into http://maps.google.co.uk or your car satnav if you have one, to give an exact address.
All you pay for is the text message, so you top up the sim card like a mobile phone.
You need to supply your own sim card, avaiable at any mobile phone shop, so you can choose which network provider you want to use.
